The Porchlight Collective: Autumn Release Forest Retreat

This Autumn Release retreat centers around the practice of letting go, deep listening, and honoring the cycles of the land and those who have long cared for it. Held on Indigenous Peoples’ Day, this gathering moves with intention, gratitude, and humility as we spend time in the forest reflecting on relationship, reciprocity, and belonging while honoring the original stewards of this land.

Through grounding movement, forest walking, breathwork, storytelling, and seasonal reflection, we explore what it means to release what is no longer needed and to return to what is essential, mutually supportive, and natural

You can expect a grounded, reflective autumn afternoon held in the forest as the season turns toward rest. The air will feel quieter, the light softer, and the day shaped by presence and respect.

We will share herbal teas and seasonal nourishment, move gently through the land, practice accessible yoga, and spend time in reflection and journaling. A shared meal will be offered as we gather in community, followed by a closing fire or circle (weather dependent) centered on gratitude, listening, and release.
