Timber Framing for FLINTA
Two Timber Framing classes will be held in June 2025, specifically for those identifying as FLINTA, to learn the craft of building wooden structures without nails or metal fasteners. Participants will gain hands-on experience with traditional and modern tools, practice cutting mortise and tenon joinery, and collaborate to raise a timber frame while acquiring skills to create their own projects.
This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Central MN Arts Board, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.

Children's Programming - TimberNook
At the heart of TimberNook programming is the philosophy that children flourish when given the time and space to play in sensory-rich, experiential learning environments. Bringing exploration and nature together results in a truly unique way to reach children at a key point in their development.

Artists and Makers Camp!
September 26-28, 2025
This event is a great experience for those wanting to learn new crafts and techniques. Every student will leave with their own handmade creations. Learn from our fantastic instructors who are all skilled artisans and craftspeople. You will walk away with an experience you will not soon forget!
