Nature Reconnection

This workshop explores how we can deepen our relationship to nature through an embodiment lens—that is, by paying close attention to our felt experience in the body.

Rather than just thinking about nature, we’ll focus on how we feel in nature: the sensations, emotions, and subtle shifts that arise when we slow down and tune in.

Through movement, breath, and stillness, we’ll explore what it means to relate to the natural world not just with our minds, but with our whole selves.

What is Embodiment?

Embodiment is the practice of being present and aware in your body—feeling and sensing rather than just thinking your way through life.

Through embodiment, you can learn to listen to your gut, regulate stress, express yourself more fully, and make choices that are aligned with what you truly need.

It’s a way of coming home to yourself.

What will I experience and/or learn during this class?

This is an interactive workshop where you'll be invited to explore in a playful, nonjudgmental way.

Expect to move around a bit though none of it will be athletic.

During this workshop, you will:

  • Step out of your mind and connect with your senses.

  • Experience nature in new and delightful ways using embodied postures.

  • Develop a greater (and embodied!) appreciation and gratitude

  • Take home practices to continue the work.

  • Reflect with other participants on our interconnection with the natural world.

What this class is not about…

The emphasis of this class won’t be about learning the specific names about plants and critters. Instead, the focus is on how we are in relationship to the natural world.

Bring a yoga mat and journal!

Tuition: $45

Materials: $0

This course is for adults 18+, or students 14+ with accompanying adult
