We will be welcoming children entering 3rd, 4th, 5th or 6th grade in the fall of 2022 to the Avon Hills Folk School on July 19-21 for Youth Arts & Maker’s Camp (formerly known as Youth Hand Camp).
Over the three days campers will experience the woods, hills, wetlands and creek of the Avon Hills while participating in a variety of artistic and art activities. They will also be able to build forts, explore different areas of the folk school in fun ways, get into the creek with our water biologist and discover the natural world with our Master Naturalist. In addition we’ll make Stone Soup (Avon Hills Bouja) together and have that as part of our meal on the last day. And so much more! Guaranteed to be the highlight of your summer.
Youth Arts & Maker’s Camp has been made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Central MN Arts Board, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.
