Bonus Mini Course! Ice Dying - Saturday - AAMC 2026

$15.00

Course Details:

Cost: $15 materials fee

Time: 5pm-6pm

Age Requirements: 18+

Ice dyeing is a fun, unpredictable fabric-dyeing technique that uses ice to create watercolor-like, crystalline patterns on textiles. Powder dye is sprinkled over ice-covered fabric and left to melt over 24 hours, causing the dye to blend in unique ways.

The fee for this course includes a limited edition bandana designed by Jamie and Jen! This bandana is what you will ice dye on either Friday or Saturday evening.

If you choose to dye your bandana on Friday night, we should be able to rinse and wash them during happy hour on Saturday and see the final results! There will also be time on Saturday during happy hour to ice dye.

Jamie Brodd

(she/her)

Jamie grew up canning and preserving foods with her mom and grandma. The foundation was set, but she really became passionate in her 20’s, after she started her own garden. With the abundance from her home garden as well as local farmer’s markets, she has almost infinite raw materials to work with.

Jamie turned her chemical engineering background and passion for recipes into a cottage food business in which her specialty is unique granola and a variety of preserved foods.

When she isn’t actively cheering on her two student athletes, or volunteering with local groups, she loves being creative with the bounty that comes from her garden.
