Barn Update!

The barn is down – the site cleaned up and the timbers snugly stored in Mathew Hall’s shed east of St. Joseph. Thank you John Hall and Mathew Hall for agreeing to store the timbers.

When Ron from Mathew Hall came to pick up the timbers he said, ” I understand we delivered these?” 

Now the really hard work begins … creating plans, making repairs, re-making some timbers, finding a place large enough to work on these (32′ long clear span timbers), and raising enough money to raise this beautiful 1889 barn again.

It will be used for programming, class space and many, many community celebrations at the Avon Hills Folk School. Please consider joining us in this work that will benefit many for generations!
