Here’s to a successful first Hand Camp at the Avon Hills Folk School!

The name is a bit funny – I found out that was purposeful, but the intent is true and good – bring people together to experience, learn and create by hand, likely something they’ve never done before.

Many thanks to Katie Schiffler for organizing this VERY FIRST event at the Avon Hills Folk School. And a big thanks to the instructors and attendees as well.

After the rain ALL DAY on Friday the skies cleared and we had a great weekend. Most everyone camped and we enjoyed great community on Friday and Saturday night – a great feast on Saturday night, with everyone contributing.

Already looking forward to next year – bigger, better and maybe in the spring too!
